the kids took their afternoon naps… norah was sleeping in the swing downstairs and mason in his crib. After a couple hours, mason woke up. I changed him and got him dressed. He played in his room for a bit, then he walked downstairs. He kept talking about how he had to be quiet as nonee was sleeping. Nice!
So he has been playing nice and quiet downstairs, reading and whatnot while norah sits quietly in her swing watching him.
Meanwhile, rebecca got a nap and I got some work done.
So it would seem that we are fully aware now of how much time having two kids takes up. And it is painfully obvious that we aren’t taking as many pictures of Norah as we did of Mason, but if it is any consolation, we are taking fewer pictures overall.
One of the things we are going to try is to make an effort to post every day a little something, highlighting something cute/memorable that the kids did.
Lets see how good we are at that. (So far, not awesome, since it was a new years resolution, and the current date is noted above.)
Just before 6pm, the water broke. No contractions yet, but phone calls have been made. Due to a family emergency, our midwife Sarah had to step out. However, she knew this might happen, so she arranged for caroline to be here instead. Since there are no contractions, we are still in a waiting game. Thankfully, Rebecca got a nap in today. Gail was in for the day, which allowed rebecca to nap and be ready. Time for dinner!
